Adam Woch and Robert Guzik are classically trained guitarists who are not afraid to step beyond genre boundaries. They feel at home in the rhythmic and energetic sounds of Latin American music, where they freely experiment. Their approach involves reinterpreting, deconstructing, and adding a personal musical layer, creating something fresh and unique. As a duo, Adam and Robert have performed worldwide. They have played in numerous countries across three continents, making their debut at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York. Both explain their approach: “We don’t want to separate ourselves from the audience and play in sterile concert conditions. We enjoy direct contact with listeners—without pretense or rigid rules. This is when we feel most like ourselves, and the honest energy we send to the audience returns to us with even greater intensity. We break traditional notions of instrumental classical music, offering openness, freshness, and accessibility. This is music for everyone—listening to the guitar is truly exciting!” Adam and Robert have also collaborated with the legendary guitar duo Sérgio and Odair Assad. This partnership resulted in Sérgio Assad composing the seven-movement piece One Week in Rio, dedicated to the Polish duo. The world premiere took place in March 2017 in Warsaw and Wrocław during a joint concert with the Assad Brothers. Their artistry is widely recognized in the guitar community, leading to frequent invitations to prestigious guitar festivals and praise from master musicians for their interpretations. In 2021, Adam Woch and Robert Guzik were selected from over 400 applications across all music genres in Poland to become laureates of the Music Masterclass scholarship program, receiving artistic mentorship from the Norblin Factory Foundation. As a result of this program, they released the single BAIAO, featuring guest artist Marek Napiórkowski. This collaboration led to the release of a new album in 2024, featuring guest appearances by jazz legend Marek Napiórkowski and the extraordinary percussionist Bodek Janke.
